Beautiful!  Don’t know the name of this artist… (I hope I can find more info/posts/pieces).

I really like the way she has a simple theme and develops it and embellishes it whilst keeping it steady and consistent.

Many of the early folk/blues guitar pioneers, played guitar piano style…reaching over the top of the fretboard, but this player has taken that tradition, or independently found her own, and broken the rules…and then written some new rules of her own, with a brilliant rolling/stroking left hand thing. One of the popular ethnomusicological theories about pitch, is that it originated in Africa, with the  experimental stringing of gut from one tree to another to achieve high and low sounds…probably  food for thought and a whole new blog category. Enjoy the music…
